This sprawling, yet unpretentious spot is the perfect place to unwind and hang out with extended family or a larger group. It has a very "Grandpa's House" vibe with rustic furniture and hunting or fishing trophies in nearly every room. Nothing is too fussy, everything is comfortable. There are ample indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, as well as plenty of nooks to find a quiet spot away from the noise. We especially appreciated super-comfy beds, the screened-in deck, and the fenced area for our dogs. Communication with hosts was very easy and responsive, and the house was incredibly clean.

The place was spectacular! Bonus eagles nesting in a nearby tree created wonderful morning views!

You won't be disappointed when you book a stay here! The grounds are fantastic for kids to play in, the house is beautiful, clean and so comfortable. The kitchen has all you need and the host is very attentive to any of your needs with quick response to all. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind, with 20 min access to Branson then this is your place.

Loved the location of the house. Right on the lake. Plenty of space for our large family to spread out. This was our family's 20th year to spend Thanksgiving in Branson. The house had all that we had hoped for and then some!

A bit about us. 14 people. Age range from 18 to 70. We met half way from 3 different states. A surprise party for the 70 year old. Our family, is comprised of very strong willed individuals with opinions. We like things nice and we like options and we want to have fun and feel spoiled. Its very hard to please everybody. Well this place pleased EVERYBODY, ALL THE TIME! Everything just works and makes sense. Its beautiful, its comfortable, we never ran out of hot water. There were always enough towels and coffee cups. There was always a, oh wow thats cool moments. Deer everywhere in the yard. The views are stunning. The host is a dream to work with. Patient with answering questions. I had a ton. They want you to have a good time at their property and it shows. WiFi does work great! Had a couple of college kids having to do home work There isnt one thing I would change about the lodge except that I would have loved to stay longer Until next time! We will be back

Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! This is the second time me and my family have come here for a family trip and both times have been stellar. The view is absolutely fantastic. Its homey and cozy. It was perfect timing coming in late October because the leaves were gorgeous and weather was magnificent. This place is big enough for a crowd and spread out enough to get some peace even in such a crowd. The kitchen is loaded with tools and basic spices and we were equipped to cook. The fire pit was awesome. This place never fails to exceed expectations. Oh and one of my favorite amenities was the huge bathtubs! Thank you for allowing us to use your amazing home. God bless you!

Extremely spacious, fun, and clean! Our family was able to spread out while also being able to gather in the same room for games, meals, and movies! We had a fun silly string fight on the grounds and the unique houses on the property made it even more fun.

This house has more room than expected, and we expected a lot from the description. Two and a half kitchens, two barbecue grills, 3 common areas, and room to run outside. It is 20 minutes from Branson, but the remote location is nice if you want to get away from the crowds. The home was clean and comfortable. We would definitely rent this again to share with friends.

The house was beautiful, decorated very nice and clean. The kitchen had all the appliances and things we needed. Loved the additional in-law suite. This worked perfect for our grandparents to stay. They were able to rest and watch TV when they needed a quiet place. Plenty of room for our 8 adults, 1 teenager, and 4 little ones. The basement game room was a hit with the kids. Pool table and Foosball tables were great. Bedrooms were large and bathrooms very well kept. Great linens and towels. Property was pretty. Mowed with trees aplenty. Little kids loved exploring the stone buildings. Fire pit was great as well as the playground. A Great view of Taneycomo! Appreciated having access to the 4-car garage. His was a bonus! It is a 15 minute drive to Branson landing as advertised, but loved the privacy.

The house is beautifully decorated and absolutely wonderful with two full master suites! The children spent most of their time in the media/game room and had a blast! It was a great "home base" for all the activities Branson has to offer. It is private and remote with more than enough room for the 8 of us. We were very pleasantly pleased. My grandkids play "high"/"low" and all of them said the house was the best "high" of their trip :)

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. Our family(kids and grandkids) get together every fall in Branson and this was by far the best place weve stayed. The grandkids took over the downstairs and we only saw them at meal time! The teenagers loved both the theater room and game room. The younger ones enjoyed getting outdoors and roaming around the property (we saw deer every day) and playing on the playground. The house and the furnishings were beautiful. Everything we needed was provided. Michelle was a wonderful host and very helpful and accommodating. She always answered my questions promptly. The location is a few miles out of town but a grocery store and Dollar General were only about a 15 minute drive away. For us, it was a perfect location and the views were gorgeous. Would highly recommend and we definitely plan to come back!

Notes

Pet Policy
A $50.00 non-refundable “Pet Fee” will be applied per dog to each reservation. (This fee does not cover damage to the property or grounds resulting from a dog, including but not limited to: chewing, scratching, digging and unreported housetraining accidents.)
Guests with dogs are asked to please respect the comfort and safety of other guests, both during and after your stay. For this reason, we ask that you please follow these guidelines during your time with us:
-Clean up after your dog, both in public areas and in the yard of your rental property.
-Do not allow your dog to bark excessively or to roam onto neighboring properties. Many of our homes are located near residential neighborhoods, and we must respect the comfort and privacy of those residents. Complaints may lead to eviction without refund. This will be at the sole discretion of Branson Vacation Retreats.
-Do not allow dogs on furniture or beds. It is also helpful to bring something (bed, blanket, etc.) on which you know your pet will be comfortable sleeping. Many pets are used to being allowed on furniture and beds at their own home, but this is not allowed in our rental properties. Please, bring any kennel or special bedding your pet may enjoy with this is mind. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for furniture, blankets, comforters, etc. that have pet hair left behind. This may include professional steam cleaning; usually resulting in charges above $200.
-Groom your dog prior to their stay in the cottage, particularly if it is a breed prone to shedding. Pet hair can be difficult to remove, and the next renter in your property may not have a pet. Extra cleaning fees will be charged for furniture, blankets, comforters, etc. that have pet hair left behind.
-Don’t leave your dog unattended for long periods of time. A crate is ideal for those situations in which you must leave. You are responsible for any damages your pet causes.
-Do your best to clean and dry your dog after a walk; this will help to ensure that no additional cleaning fee is necessary due to pet related messes (i.e.: paw prints and mud on carpet)
-Do not allow dogs in swimming pools or hot tubs or bathe your dog in the cottage's bathroom.
-Ensure that your dog’s medications and immunizations are up-to-date prior to your stay, especially flea treatment.
